went to her Eternal Reward 22nd August 2020.
On the occasion of our Dear Mother’s First Anniversary we, her family, wish to sincerely thank everyone for the kindness and support shown to us at the time of our sad loss and during the past year. We thank you all for your letters, Mass cards, perpetual enrolments, phone calls and online
tributes. To those who helped in so many ways, dropping off food etc., we are so very grateful.
We extend our deepest thanks to the Staff of Bridhaven Nursing Home for the loving and excellent care Mom received. We are truly grateful to all who cared for her.
To our relatives, friends and neighbours, thank you for all your kindness and support. A special word
of thanks to the Dineen Family, Cloghoula.
We express our deep gratitude to you Canon John, for your help, guidance and for celebrating such a meaningful Mass. Thank you to Sharon who was of immense help to us and to Julie too. To Davy
Tarrant, Elaine and Declan we extend our profound thanks for your understanding, compassion and professionalism.
To our dear friend Sheila Fitzgerald, we thank you sincerely for your beautiful singing of Mom’s favourite hymns and music.
We thank all of you who stood out to pay your respects to Mom and Millstreet Vintage Club for your Guard Of Honour.
Our heartfelt thanks to our Wonderful Lifelong Friend, Seán Radley, for recording and broadcasting  Mom’s Mass live which made it possible for family abroad to join us and also for presenting a
wonderful tribute show on the night of Mom’s Month’s Mind Mass.
As a token of our sincere appreciation the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
Mom’s Anniversary Mass will be celebrated at 11.30am on Sunday 22nd  August 2021.

Millstreet Meals on Wheels service

The Millstreet Meals on Wheels service is available for anyone who needs it. All food is prepared in Millstreet Day Centre & we operate the service 5 days a week. You can order a hot dinner for as many days as you like, delivered to your door from Mon-Fri for just €6 a day for the main meal & €2 for dessert.

A variety of meals are served throughout the week and the staff will endeavour to facilitate individual tastes when preparing meals. Coeliac dinners & desserts available also. Please see our menu for next week below.

Tade-John O’ Riordan – Acknowledgement and First Anniversary

Who died on 20th August 2020

As we lovingly remember Tade on his first anniversary, his wife Joan, daughters Mary and Sheila, son John and extended family wish to express our deep gratitude to all who sympathised and supported us on our sad loss. Our thanks to all who have sent Mass cards, texts, phone calls and online condolences. We would like to thank our family, neighbours and friends who brought food and refreshments to our home.

Thanks to the Doctors and staff of Millstreet Medical Centre, Mallow Hospital, Cork University Hospital and Mulcahy’s Pharmacy who cared for Tade through the years.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all those who stood on the roadside for his final journey and Knocknagree GAA for their guard of honour at the graveyard.

A sincere thanks to Canon John Fitzgerald, Sharon and Julie for the funeral Mass, to Jerry and Hannah-Mary for the singing and music and to Seán Radley for his recording of the Mass.

A special thanks to undertaker Davy Tarrant, Cora and Declan for their understanding and assistance with funeral arrangements.

As it is impossible to thank everybody, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude and appreciation. Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Tade’s First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 21st of August at 6:30pm in St. Patrick’s Church Millstreet.
