Kathleen Naughton, Killarney (née Murphy of Ahane, Cullen)
The death has occurred of Kathleen Naughton (née Murphy), Tullig, Spa, Killarney, and late of Ahane, Cullen, Co. Cork. Peacefully after a short illness bravely borne in the tender care of the doctors, nurses and staff at I.C.U., Bon Secours Hospital, Cork and in the presence of her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Denis (Sonny) and Annie, sisters Mary and Anne, brothers Tim, Denis and Noel. Beloved wife of James and loving mother of Denis and Shamus. Adoring grandmother of Fionn, Cillian and Danny. She will be deeply missed by her family, sisters Margaret and Sr. Christine, brothers Sean and Frank, daughters-in-law Norma and Mary, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. “May Her Gentle Soul Rest In Peace”. In accordance with Government and HSE guidelines and in the interest of public health, a private family funeral will take place for Kathleen in St Mary’s Cathedral. Kathleen’s Requiem Mass will be live streamed on killarneyparish.com at 12 noon on Wednesday morning, followed by burial in Aghadoe Lawn Cemetery, Killarney.
