As the fog disappeared this Sunday morning no less that four Walking Groups from Cork City and East Cork made their energetic way up Clara Mountain.

Great Response to Dromtariffee Parish Annual Harvest Collection

There was a great Response to the Dromtariffee Parish Hall Annual Harvest Collection for Cork Penny Dinners and Local Saint Vincent de Paul Branch,there was a huge amount of very worthwhile Food,Clothing and other Necessary Items donated along with Cash Donations to the Amount of €512 to Cork Penny Dinners and €400 to Saint Vincent de Paul,we want to Sincerely Thank Everyone for there Fantastic Generosity which will help in a big way to make Christmas a bit more comfortable for People who are in need in these Challenging Times we are living in,Many Many Thanks for your Support.

Catherine Tarrant (née O’Sullivan), Cullen & Banteer

The death has occurred of Catherine Tarrant (née O Sullivan) (Formally of Kilmacrane, Banteer) Clenrath, Cullen, Cork.

On December 5th Catherine passed away peacefully in her 90th year in Millstreet Community Hospital. Predeceased by her husband Nicholas and daughter Marie. Sadly missed by her loving family Mairead, Richard, Nora, George, Eileen and Martin, grandchildren, great grandchild, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. [rip]

Due to current government guidelines a private family funeral mass will be held in the Church of The Blessed Virgin Mary, Derrinagree on Tuesday at 2PM followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Suaimhneas síoraí dà hanam dílís Messages of sympathy may be left on the RIP Condolence Page.
