Bumper Year gone by for Aubane Social Club

Over the past 12 months the Aubane Social Club donated money to the following charities from the events they hosted.

January 2019 – €2000 following the Christmas Day Climb 2019 to Irish Community Rapid Response.

August 2019 – €1,000 to Marymount Community Palliative Care Team following the Marymount Coffee Morning hosted by John Kelleher Chairman, Noreen Kelleher Secretary and Gobnait Kelleher.

December 2019 – €250 was presented to Reach out Cancer Support Millstreet in memory of Late Ann Keane, Pound Hill, Millstreet who was a regular to our weekly set Dancing on Monday nights.

Following our Christmas Day Climb of Mushera this year we will make a donation to the valuable service in our community the Irish Community Rapid Response. ( Air Ambulance).

The proceeds of Christmas Day Climb 2019 are in Aid of the Aubane Community Centre Renovations Fund and the Irish Community Rapid Response.

Catherine Byrnes, Rathcoole (née Mc Garry of Kanturk)

The death has occurred of Catherine Byrnes, Knockcahill, Rathcoole, Co. Cork (née McGarry of Greenfield Rd, Kanturk).
Passed away on 17th of December at Kanturk Community Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by her husband Michael, daughter Mary (O Gorman), son’s Martin, Michael, Dominic and Damien, son in law Liam, daughter’s in law Anne, Liz, Mairead and Dolores and her 13 grandchildren, nephews, nieces relatives, neighbour’s and friends. Lying in Repose in Tarrant’s Funeral, Millstreet on Thursday evening from 6pm to 8pm followed by removal to St John’s Church, Dromagh. Requiem Mass on Friday at 1pm burial afterwards in St Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet. Family flowers only please donations in lieu to Kanturk Community Hospital. [rip]

Connie Hartnett, The Bridge, Millstreet

On December 17th 2019, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the exceptional care of the staff at Marymount Hospice. Sadly missed by his daughters Julie and Helen and their mother Mary, his 6 grandchildren and great-granddaughter. Deeply regretted by his family, brother Vincent, sisters Kathleen (Harte), Eleanor (Kileen) and the late Noel and Brenda, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, former team mates and friends. “Ar Dheis Dé go Raibh a anam”
