Spin for Cancer

“By 2020, 1 in 2 of us will receive a cancer diagnosis in our lifetime. The Irish Cancer Society is working to stop this.”

On Saturday, 31st August 2019 from 10am – 10pm, O’ Leary’s Family Butchers along with Capabu Foods, The Sibly Food Co. & DTMarketing will hold a Spin-A-Thon at the Square in Millstreet to benefit the Irish Cancer Society.

There will be a range of teams, music and food tastings throughout the day along with Special Guests.

Death Notice: Kitty McCarthy, Aubane

The death has occurred of Kitty Mc Carthy (née Corkery), Aubane, Millstreet, Cork / Ballymakeera, Cork. Peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Bridhaven Nursing Home, Mallow. Beloved wife of Donal (minor), sister of the late Eileen Kelleher. Sadly missed by her loving family, brothers Tom (Ballymakeera), Donal (Carrigaline), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet on Friday from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 1pm followed by burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
