Our farms – Our Food – Our Future is a forum which takes place in Skibbereen on Saturday September 8th, as part of ‘A taste of West Cork Food Festival.
It looks at the food we eat, how it effects our physical and mental health
and how it’s produced.

This week on Where the road takes me, John Greene goes to meet chefs, food writers, Naturopaths and nutritional therapists who all sing from the same hymn sheet. While it is important to eat good healthy food, they also
believe that it’s equally important to know where and how it’s grown and

Lost Phone This Saturday Evening in Millstreet

Tremendous Response to Millstreet GAA Clothing Collection 2018

Sharon Lane was indeed most impressed by the uplifting response to the 2018 Millstreet GAA Clothing Collection on Saturday, 1st Sept. from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Millstreet GAA Community Hall.   Tom Flahive and Sharon then arranged to store the splendid amount of bags for later collection to a central depot.  Here we share a selection of images showing just some of the many kind people who delivered very welcome bags of clothes for the praiseworthy cause.  Click on the images to enlarge.
