As mentioned on Thursday, Graham Clifford of RTÉ Radio 1’s Drivetime Programme was in Millstreet and Carriganima to interview local ladies about the Women’s Little Christmas Celebrations in the area. The feature was aired about 5:40pm on Friday evening, and included a few words with Ann Marie Kelleher, Christopher (Barman at the Wallis Arms), Pat Randles, Noreen Dennehy, Sean Murphy and more ladies the Pub Carriganima. Death Notice: Sheila O’Brien (née Cremin)

O’BRIEN (Carrigaphooka, Macroom): On January 6th, 2018, peacefully, at CareChoice Macroom, Sheila (nee Cremin) beloved wife of the late Con (late of Ballydaly), sister of Mary and the late Peggy, sister-in-law Margaret (Murphy) , brother-in-law Denis (O’Brien) . Sadly missed by her sister, sister-in-law , brother-in-law , nephews, niece, grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephew, great-grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Fitz-Gerald’s Funeral Home, Macroom, from 7pm Wednesday 10th with removal at 8.30pm to St Colman’s Church, Macroom. Funeral on Thursday 11th, after 10am Mass, to St. Colman’s Cemetery, Macroom. May she rest in peace. [1]
