St.John’s – Duhallow Junior B Champions

Congratulations to St. John’s GAA Club, Duhallow’s newest and smallest club, who after seven years have won the Junior B Championship, after they beat Dromtarriffe last night in Millstreet on a scoreline of 0-8 to 0-3.
After loosing the county final earlier in the year, they stuck with it and earned their well deserved reward [1]

Andrzej’s 42 Steps to Freedom

Hi Everyone, as you all will probably agree, Andrzej (Andrew) is a great ambassador for the club. He has a big heart and gives up his own time to help others who are less fortunate. He is currently trying to raise money for a friend of his back in his homeland who is paralysed and confined to his house as he lives in a 2nd floor apartment and unable to get up and down the stairs without assistance.
The fund raiser is called the “42 Steps to Freedom“. You can find more information on his FB page but basically he is looking for sponsorship for each KM of the Clonakilty Marathon.
