An Evening with Louise & Norman Morrissey

Louise Morrissey has long been regarded by both folk and country music enthusiasts as one of our vocal treasures. She began her music career together with her brothers as part of the highly acclaimed folk group The Morrisseys . From the mid 70’s through to the late 80’s The Morrisseys enjoyed national and international success. Louise has also enjoyed a stellar solo career and returns to Macroom after a powerful sell out performance last year.

Joining Louise on the night will be her brother Norman, and together they will share with their audience many memories, stories and songs. This special concert at Riverside Park Hotel will be the perfect pick me up after the busy festive period.

Tickets €20 available online at brierygap.ie or by calling 026 41917.

Millstreet Did Not Go To The World Out There

Millstreet did not go to the World out there so the World out there came to Millstreet
In the Duhallow Town today people of many different nationalities you will meet
People of many cultures and creeds of Countries Worldwide and of skin colors black, white and brown
Live in view of old Clara Hill in and near to Millstreet Town

Millstreet did not go to the World out there it was a monocultural place
But change to it came from afar in latter years at a quick pace
And change for the better one might say as it brought with it people of the World out there
And change happening in view of Clara Hill as has been happening everywhere
