Due to the wonderful European Parade and Green Glens Concert this Tuesday evening (26th July 2016) there will not be our usual weekly “Radio Treasures” broadcast on Cork Music Station this evening. But next week our 10pm Interview will be with Radio Kerry’s Mary Fagan who superbly presents the weekly “Horizons” programme on Radio Kerry from 9 to 10 every Sunday morning. And on this forthcoming Sunday at 9 a.m. the complete hour-long programme will focus on Millstreet following Mary’s visit to Millstreet on 9th June 2016. If you miss the live transmission you may also access it on the Radio Kerry Podcast facility. When Mary was in Millstreet she interviewed a number of people including Fr. Paddy O’Byrne outside the Church, James O’Sullivan at Tubrid Holy Well and she also visited Millstreet Museum where we attempted to give her an insight into Millstreet’s history. Mary especially enjoyed hearing the historic gramophone. Here we share a selection of images recalling Mary’s recent visit to Millstreet.A reminder of the forthcoming “Horizons” broadcast on Radio Kerry which features the Millstreet Experience – Sunday, 31st July 2016 from 9 to 10 a.m..
