IRD Duhallow will hold their Annual General Meeting and launch of Progress Report 15-16 on Wednesday 27th July 2016 at 8pm at the James O’Keeffe Institute, Newmarket, Co. Cork.
The Directors of IRD Duhallow in recognition of the strong role local communities and businesses play in the success of the Company are holding an open meeting with all members of Communities, Voluntary Groups and Businesses invited to attend.
There was a heavy sprinkling of mothers and daughters and husband-and-wife combinations at the Dublin Horse Show Ladies Day.
Raymond Gilbourne from Millstreet, was there to support his wife, Gillian, resplendent in the cream dress she wore to her son’s communion. Raymond ended up clinching the Best Dressed Man’s prize and won a Louis Copeland made-to-measure suit. Funnily enough Raymond’s suit was also a Louis Copeland!

Congratulations to Patrick O’Callaghan and the Kilcummin teams on winning the Munster Championships and qualifying to three All-Irelands in Ennis this year qualifying with two golds and a silver
What superb memories we have of the recent World Mounted Games Team Event Parade through Millstreet Town followed by the truly marvellous Liam O’Connor Concert at Green Glens. Lots of people regretted not being able to be present for this historic happening. Well….the fantastic news is…..there is going to be another hugely colourful Parade this Tuesday evening (26th July 2016) marking the official opening of the FEI European Jumping Championships for Young Riders, Juniors and Children on Horses. The Parade begins at 6.30pm (on this occasion it will be a Parade of the many international Riders following the Millstreet Pipe Band and the horses will not be participating in this Parade). We thank Caitríona at Green Glens for all the relevant information below. We encourage all to come to view the magnificent Parade and then to proceed to Green Glens for Liam O’Connor’s brilliant Concert where he is joined by a host of superbly talented Musicians. We thank Millstreet Community Council and all at Green Glens for coordinating this amazing Millstreet Experience. (S.R.)

This year The Green Glens Arena in Millstreet is hosting the FEI European Jumping Championships for Young Riders, Juniors and Children on Horses from July 25th to 31st.
