The Weekly Parish Lotto Results.

The weekly lotto draw was held at Corkery’s Bar on Sunday night, October 4th.

Numbers drawn were4, 11, 16, 23 and the Jackpot was not won.

€100 went to Danny Buckley, Liscahane. The seller was Brendan O Keeffe and he got €50 sellers prize. €50 went to Denis Scully, Castletownroche, €20 each went to Joan Kelleher c/o Apls. Thomas Burke, Murphy’s Terrace.  Davy Tarrant c/o Tarrant’s Bar. Denis Dennehy, Mill View. Niall O Brien, Ballydaly, Niamh O Mahony, Inchileigh, & Laurance McSweeney, Tanyard.

Jackpot for next week €4,200 the draw at the Mal Passo Bar on Sunday night.

Alice Taylor will launch a book, entitled Bishop’s Island in Clondrohid Hall on Thursday October 22nd at 8pm and all are welcome.

Please be reminded that LTV2 have new programs on the UTube on a regular basis. And Macroom local TV are now broadcasting from Clara Mountain and programs can the seen on the religious channel.

 

Many thanks to those who displayed the fruits of the earth on our alter for masses at the weekend  in thanksgiving to God for the wonderful harvest.

Music Row Studios Awards on “Radio Treasures” Tonight on C.M.S.

Tonight on "Radio Treasures" we feature hightlights from the recent Music Row Studios (associated with Startrax) Awards Event held at the Wallis Arms Hotel. We include a brief interview with dancer supreme in her 90s, Mrs. Narrie Linehan of Castleisland and we meet with Leo and Noreen Fitzgerald and listen to some of the wonderful music. Juvenile GAA Cups – this Sunday

2014-10-25 Millstreet GAA - crest logoMillstreet Juvenile GAA will host the annual Connie Kelleher, Tommy O’Connor & Alan O’Connor (R.I.P.) Perpetual Cups Tournament this  Sunday 11th at 12.30p.m. in the Park.
U8 & U10’s will play Football, while U12’s will play Hurling. Players to be in the park for 12p.m.

Please note there are currently weather warnings in place. Should this need to be rescheduled it will be held on the following Sunday 18th.

Trad for Trocaire event – Fri. 9th Oct. @7.30pm in Millstreet Community School

2015-10-07 Trad for Trocaire - First Year StudentsA Trad for Trocaire event will take place in Millstreet Community School library on Friday 9th October beginning a 7.30pm.  Students from 1st year to leaving cert will be dancing, singing and playing traditional Irish music.  They’ll be raising the roof at the same to time as raising money to support Trocaire’s vital work with some of the poorest communities in developing countries.  Admission is free, light refreshments will be served.  There will be a collection for Trocaire’s work during the evening.  For more information contact the school on (029) 70087
