                Come and Make an art piece for the library wall with local Artist Amanda Wright based on the theme‘Under The sea’ starring the Book

                               ‘The Rainbow Fish’

Have some Fun with paint/collage Printing and mixed media making sea creatures.

Next Wednesday’s workshop – July 8th – will take place from 4-5pm.

On Wed July 15, 22, 29, they will take place   from 3-4pm.

A spectacular welcome awaited the three World Taekwon-do Champions returning from the highly prestigious event in Rimini, Italy. A mighty bonfire on the side of the road at Rathduane marked the truly historic occasion and a Piper from Cullen Pipe Band led the large gathering to a marvellous celebratory Party at the closeby home of Tim and Breeda Murphy and Family.

A special interview was recorded with the three Champions and this may be heard on “Radio Treasures” on www.corkmusicstation.com on Tuesday 7th July at 10pm.  A great atmosphere was created for the Party with splendid public address and superb music while the amount of delicious food and drinks plus an amazing celebratory cake – all were awe-inspiring!

We three attended Coláiste Pádraig, Millstreet from 1963 and were in the same class. From left - Joe O'Riordan (Rathcoole and Rathduane), Séamus (Jimmy) Breen of Gneeveguilla and Ennis whom I had not met since1966 and is in fact Jason's uncle - brother of Jason's mother!
