Dennis Singleton (RIP 2015)SINGLETON-Dennis J. on February 21, 2015. Native of Carriglea, Millstreet, Co. Cork, Ireland. Beloved husband of the late Margaret (nee Lyons, Co. Cavan, Ireland). Loving father of Mary Landis (Mark), Bill (Julia) and Dennis (Beth). Cherished grandfather of Ava, James, Liam, Kellen, Owen, Luke and Kate. Dear brother of Mary Carroll, John and the late Kitty Galvin and Jerry. Also survived by loving nieces and nephews.

Reposing at EDWARD D. LYNCH FUNERAL HOME, 43-07 Queens Blvd., Sunnyside, NY., Tuesday, 2-5 and 7-9PM. Funeral Mass Queen of Angels R.C. Church, Wednesday, 10:30 A.M. Interment Mt. St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Baby Massage/ Reflexology course @ E-Centre Millstreet

Baby MassageMy next round of Baby massage plus classes begin in Millstreet E Centre from Thursday 26th February at 10:30am. This course is open to all babies and their parents and I’m celebrating 10 years as an instructor.
Baby will be pampered and parents will learn an invaluable life skill and will reap benefits from that very first massage.
Course duration 5 weeks / Course fee €120
Up to €100 may be redeemed on certain health policies too.

Death Notice: Con Hartnett, Clonbanin

HARTNETT (Drominagh, Clonbanin): On February 19, 2015, peacefully, in the exceptional care of Matron and staff of Millstreet Community Hospital, CON, beloved brother of the late Dan, Peg, Noreen and Tadhg. Dearly missed by his sisters Kathleen Scanlon (Ballyclogh), Breeda Cronin (Clonbanin Cross), Mary Teresa (USA) and brother Seamus (USA), sister-in-law Pauline (Donoughmore and Banteer), his adoring nephews and nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Rest in peace.
Reposing at Tarrant’s Funeral Home, Millstreet from 6pm to 8pm on this Saturday evening followed by removal to the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Derrinagree. Requiem Mass at 12.30pm on tomorrow, Sunday, followed by burial in St Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet. Donations if desired, to Millstreet Community Hospital.

Joe Kennelly Presents A Superb Programme at Gramophone Circle

In his splendid programme of music and song, Joe shared some wonderful gems and evoked treasured memories of the Millstreet of the 1950s and '60s.  Next presentation in Boherbue is on Thursday, 5th March being given by Maura Sheehan (pictured at back 3rd from left) and  Millstreet will have Peter O'Regan of Kilmurry presenting on Friday, 20th March.
