Lisheens House Drop in centre in Kealkill is a new non- profit charitable organisation opening in October 2014 committed to providing a compassionate, professional, free or affordable counselling service in West Cork, primarily to help prevent suicide and self harm. Established by a small team of dedicated individuals the centre will offer free/subsidised counselling and other therapies where appropriate, in a welcoming, safe, and non-judgemental environment by trained professionals.

Top of the page this morning has to be a huge message of congratulations the Mark Ellis on his wonderful performance as a member of the Cork Hurling team who defeated Limerick in the County Hurling Final on Sunday. Signs were up all over the place wishing him well on Sunday. And lots of prayers that he would be fit to play in spite of his knee injury. Baoichas le Dia it all came up trumps in the end.
