The Claramore Rill
From a high field by Clara it babbles downhill
With a silver tongue that is never still
Down to Claraghatlea it flows with a will
The waterway known to some as the Claramore Rill
On Claraghatlea Bridge on an evening in Spring
How lovely to listen to the dipper sing
The dark brown water bird of breast white as snow
By sight or by song that everyone seem to know

Sharing Canvassing Comment
We thank Margaret Buckley for sharing one of the comments expressed during current canvassing for the Local Election:
“On the canvass recently, I came across complaints of dog-fouling on the pavements around the town. One person in particular was fulsome in her praise of the beauty of the town and its environs but found it off-putting to come across dog poo on the pavements. Now that the summer months are here, more people will be out exercising. This is a gentle reminder that we should all take responsibility for our dogs and their leavings. Remember, the pavements are for everybody… Kind regards, Margaret Buckley.” (S.R.)Patsy’s Style Options and Eileen’s Forever Living Products
