Very successful Games Day held at Millstreet Community School

A most enjoyable afternoon of games took place on Monday 3rd March in Millstreet Community School library between 2-4pm.  It was organised by the Transition Year SVP Youth for Justice group and adults of all ages were invited to take part.  Games played included scrabble, monopoly, jenga, draughts and a variety of card games.  Refreshments included a beautiful selection of home baked buns and cakes provided by the participants.  Here are some photos from the event (click the images to see full size):

Truly Inspiring Lenten Sleep Out by MCS Students in aid of Trócaire

Throughout this night some thirty inspirational Students from Millstreet Community School with three of their Teachers and Secretary,  Marian are all participating in a Lenten Sleep Out in aid of Trócaire.
