On a recent cycle around the Glebe Route I came across a dedicated Crew taking a break from a hard day’s work saving silage. And then we met Mary Healy picking blackberries to make delicious jam. Mary very kindly (as is usual for Mary who is always so generous to everyone) treated us all to a feast of wonderful blackberries. For me it truly brought back fond childhood memories. Our Pipe Band led the Parade at Beal na mblath, for the Michael Collins Memorial Day. While the father of local television, Dan Joe Kelleher appeared on the evening news recording it all for your Winter viewing.
