Death Notice: John Twomey, formerly of Kilcorney

TWOMEY (Youghal and Kilcorney): On August 17, 2013, peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, at the Mercy University Hospital, Cork, John, beloved husband of Hannah (Joan, nee Buckley) and loving dad of Denis, Siobhán (Lynch), Kathleen (Keogh) and Con. Deeply regretted by his loving wife and family, brothers Dennie, Con and Mike, sisters Kathleen, Sheila, Joan and Carmel, sons-in-law Pádraig and Mossie, his loving grandchildren Megan, Kate, Conor, Mossie, Cian, Charlie and Aoife, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Rest in Peace.
Reposing at Egan’s Funeral Home, Greencloyne, Youghal. Removal on this Monday evening at 7pm to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, The Strand, Youghal. Requiem Mass on tomorrow, Tuesday, at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to the North Abbey Cemetery, Youghal.

Believed to be one of the biggest and best International Horse Shows at Millstreet's Green Glens here we feature the first of many images reflecting the joy of the spectators, the excellence of the jumping, the emphasis on health and safety and the exquisite and truly magnificent setting created with such care and professionlalism at Green Glens. Superb period costumes were the order of the day at the wonderfully successful Coachford Autumn 2013 Festival over the weekend.   Here we feature part one of our coverage where we highlight the High Nelly Bike Run and meet with Dog Show entries as well as experiencing the marvellous world of steam engines.
