Humphery Kelleher Cup: The finals of the Humphery Kelleher U15 Munster Football will take place in Millstreet next Saturday July 13th. Preliminary rounds will be held in Knocknagree and Dromtarriffe, with the losers final at 2:30pm, and the final proper at 3:45, both games in the Town Park.
On the same day, Shane Hickey and Padraig Moynihan play for Cork in the Munster U14 competition in Waterford, and Cathal Crowley plays for Cork in the Munster U16 competition in Limerick. Full details of these competitions is on the Cork GAA website
Athletics: The Willie Neenan 10k Memorial Run was held last Friday July 5th as part of the Gathering Festival. There was an impressive 188 finishers. Cycling: The Millstreet Gathering Festival Cycling Road Race held on last Sunday July 7th was won by Paidí O’Brien of the Planet-Tri team – he’s a former professional with the Sean Kelly / An Post team, and is showing his form now after returning from a training stint in Belgium.
