The Gathering in Millstreet – Events for 6th July 2013 Saturday

Millstreet Gathering of Artisan Food & Craft Fair
10am to 4pm
The Square, Millstreet.
Millstreet proudly invites you to visit The Gathering for a fun-filled Community event showcasing local crafts, a Farmer’s Market with a unique community flavour and a party atmosphere for all ages.
Individuals with homemade or home-grown produce are encouraged to submit their products for sale on the “Community Stand” as an echo of Millstreet market town past. Budding entrepreneurs are encouraged to sell their products in the Kiddies Korner.
Enjoy family fun and street entertainment including face-painting, children’s entertainer, and music

GAA Family Fun Evening

Commences at 6pm – Millstreet Town Park
U8 match will start off the Fun Evening followed by U10, U12, U14 and U16 matches
BBQ & Live Music to keep everyone entertained.
So come along and join the fun……….

Busking Round 1
1000 euros in Prizes to be won!!!!!!!!
Be an entertainer for a couple of hours and support this lively street culture. Show the value of the diversity of entertainment that busking provides in the public realm and at the same time, be in with a chance to win valuable money prizes.

Hugely Successful Millstreet Festival 2013 – Day 2 – Friday, 5th July

The spectacular highlight of Day 2 was the enormously successful Willie Neenan Road Race.  Here we view the winning lady champion - Martina Kiely (nee Hickey) receiving her prizes from Marie Neenan & Fr. Paddy O'Byrne while we also meet the Neenan Family including John D. who travelled from USA to coincide with the historic race.  (S.R.)
