Monster MAC Draw Takes Place in Wallis Arms Hotel

The local group which was successful in the Monster MAC Draw last night in the Wallis Arms Hotel was Millstreet Development Group who will now act as the Main Stewarding Group for the highly prestigious event to be held in May and centred at Millstreet Country Park. They will received the monetary prize for their important participation. (S.R.)

The local group which was successful in the Monster MAC Draw last night in the Wallis Arms Hotel was Millstreet Development Group who will now act as the Main Stewarding Group for the highly prestigious event to be held on Saturday, 27th April 2013  and centred at Millstreet Country Park. They will receive the €800.00 monetary prize for their important participation.    (S.R.)

Death Notice: Hannah O’Connor, Lisnaboy

The death has occurred on Friday, March 15, 2013 of Hannah O’Connor, (née O’Keeffe) of Lisnaboy, Cullen. Reposing at her residence today, Saturday, from 5pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass in the Church of the Nativity, Cullen tomorrow, Sunday, at 12.30pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Marymount Hospice.

Accommodation Providers – Orchard Motorsport Cork 20 International Rally

cork20-logoWe have been successful in securing the Orchard Motorsport Cork 20 International rally for Millstreet, to be held on 4th, 5th & 6th October 2013. All competitors and spectators will hope to stay in Millstreet or as close as possible.

In order to be included in the accommodation list on the official Cork 20 website all registered and non-registered accommodation providers need to register on 086-1721142. Registration fee is €20 per room.

All registrations need to be completed by 25/3/13.

It was Matt Cooper who officially launched the Millstreet Gathering Programme at the Wallis Arms Hotel on Friday, 15th March 2013. Also appearing at the prestigious occasion was the equally popular Alan Shortt with his excellent "Michael Noonan" view on Irish life! Lots more pictures later.
