From the Cork Independent: It’s a sort of homecoming for Millstreet native JD Kelleher. He can be currently seen in Red Kettle’s production of Edna O’ Brien’s ‘The Country Girls’, which is playing at Cork Opera House until this Saturday (June 16th). Now based in London for over 20 years, JD is delighted to have the chance to be back in Cork and catch up with old friends and family.
“It’s coming full circle as it all started for me here on the stage of Cork Opera House with the Monforts and Eileen Nolan back when I was in my late teens. Getting the opportunity to be back on one of the greatest stages in the country is truly an honour and I’m delighted to be a part of it.”
