Dia is Mhuire diobh go leir a Cairde and welcome to News Report 1108 from Millstreet.  Fondest greetings dear listeners and I wish you all the very best on this beautiful sunny spring morning.

Well done to over 30 of Transition Year Students, and Chaplin John Magee, who camped out all of last night on church Grounds to raise money for Trocaire.

The organisers of Daffodil Day collections in the town on Friday last want to say a million thanks to all those who contributed or helped in any way to make it the phenomenal success that it was. The collection outside the shops in the town brought in €3,000, the coffee morning at the GAA
Hall amounted to €800.00, and that fund is still open.
