Kevin is the C103/96FM Sports Star of the Month for February

Kevin Crowley was today presented with the 96FM/C03 GAA Sports Star of the Month award for February in association with the Rochestown Park Hotel.

Kevin, from the Millstreet GAA club, was a key member of the Cork Vocational Schools’ senior football team that won the All-Ireland senior title recently, defeating champions Donegal in the final. He also won a Munster Championship with his school, Coláiste Treasa Kanturk, and is a member of the Cork minor football panel.

Millstreet Celtic 0 Leeside B 2

We lost 2-0 at home to Leeside B in the County Cup this morning. We started the game well and saw a lot of the ball without creating too many chances. Leeside came into it after about 20 mins but we had the first good chance. A corner was swung in by Paul Dawson and John Lehane met it on the volley at the back post but it was deflected just wide. 5 mins later Chris Cleary shot wide after a cross from Brian Murphy. Leeside took the lead just before half time when a free kick was pushed on to the bar but fell nicely for their player to slot home. Wonderfully Successful Class Reunion 1976 – 1981 in Church and at Hotel

One of the three tutorial groups photographed with tutor, Matt Murphy (seated sixth from left) at the hugely successful Class Reunion 1976-1981 held in the Wallis Arms Hotel, Millstreet on Friday, 16th March.
