Snow Arrives

Having escaped the snow for the two weeks from the end of November to the start of December, we have finally got our fair share of it this evening (as seen in the photo above) with about 6cm falling already … and no end in sight until the morning … maybe. Be careful out there … and it if you get a chance try to enjoy it 🙂

Vaughan in Cork Schools side this evening

2010-03-04 Cork Vocational Schools Win All Ireland - Included was Michael Vaughan

Michael Vaughan has been selected again this year in the Cork half-forward line as reigning champions Cork play in the Munster Vocational Schools SAFC final against Kerry in Rathmore at 5pm (this evening!).

It’s only a few miles away, so as the snow hasn’t arrived yet, it’s surely worth the short trip to support the lads. The match was switched from Austin Stack Park to Rathmore yesterday following a pitch inspection at the Tralee venue. Read a full article previewing the game in today’s Examiner.
