Fr Sean Tucker’s lovely book: The Famed Hill of Clara, has arrived at Wordsworth Bookshop. And is a must for anyone connected with Millstreet.  And a lovely read. It will be officially launched at the Aubane Social Club on Sunday October 25 at 8pm.

The National Dairy Show will be held at the Green Glens Arena this Saturday October  17th. All under one roof.  Restaurant will be up and running. And there’s always plenty of Parking. A great day is guaranteed.

Richie O'Connor from Ballydaly was on the 9pm News on RTE representing farmers who were staging protests across the country
Richie O'Connor from Ballydaly in a short interview on the 9pm News on RTE, where he was representing farmers who were staging protests across the country, about cuts in Government support and falling prices for farmers.

He said: “It’s making 18-20 cents. My side of the country in Duhallow, West Duhallow in particular it’s costing 27 cents per litre to produce it”

Munster Vocational Championships  SHC B: Millstreet CS 2-13 Col An Chraoibhin 1-5,

Millstreet overcame Tullylease in the Duhallow Junior B Football Championship by 1-16 to 1-5, while the Junior Footballers were well beaten by Newmarket Intermediates the Duhallow Cup by 4-20 to 2-2.
