Abunchoftools wins in Clonmel

Congratulations Dan O’Donoghue of Lackabane, breeder of Abunchoftools, who won yesterday’s TA Morris Stakes at the National Coursing Meeting in Clonmel. He also bred Tree Top Kerry (Adios Alonso x Tanyard Kerry)who was yesterday beaten in the third round by the winner of the Horse and Jockey Hotel Oaks. Well done Dan and all involved in today’s success. Aboounchoftools (Adios Alonso x Tanyard Kerry), was trained by John Browne for the Glory-Kilmihill-Syndicate. He won by two lengths in the final.

Road Bowling: Tom Browne won the Gerald Healy Cup final at Kilcorney where he beat Kevin Ruby in the last shot (1st Dec). They were locked together in the early stages. GAA Scór Sinsear: County Final – The Millstreet Question Time team had an easy victory in the County Final in Ovens on Saturday night (March 2nd) to record their 16th title in a row. St. John’s were seen to be very unlucky, coming second in the Novelty Act, and without success in the Recitation and Ballad Group. In the first round was on Sunday morning before the interval, she beat Killahy’s Babe; in the quarter-finals Monday morning, she beat Blades Of Joy, but was beaten in the semi-final Monday afternoon (Feb 3rd) by Catunda Magic who went on to win the final.
