Millstreet Athletic Club

***Event update***

We are disappointed to announce the cancellation of our Willie Neenan Memorial 5 mile road race which was to be held on 26th June next. Due to the current restrictions in place for Covid-19 it was an obvious but difficult decision to make. Please stay safe in these difficult times and lets look forward to next years race.

Maria Presents Cheque to the Irish Cancer Society

Having represented Dublin in the Final of Miss Ireland 2018 Maria created awareness for the Irish Cancer Society by running the Dublin Mini Marathon. After completing her Masters in UCC she joined Asset Management in Dublin.   Thrilled to be selected as Miss Dublin she prepared to full capacity for the mini marathon:
“Being the current Miss Dublin in this years Miss Ireland was an amazing platform and being a finalist allowed me to be a major advocate of charities special to me.    It gave me the wonderful opportunity to raise necessary funds for Irish Cancer Research .      I am so grateful to all the wonderful people who donated so generously and as a result   €5,623.00 was raised.     A massive Thank You to all who did contribute and for helping me support such a deserving cause.”
