Parent’s Association presentation to local primary schools
Millstreet Primary Schools Parents Association fundraising efforts from this school year totalled €5,000, and it was divided equally and presented to Scoil Mhuire Boys National School and Presentation National School this week. A note of thanks to all parents, guardians, school staff and local sponsors who helped contribute to the fundraising efforts this year.

Class Visit to Millstreet Museum on Wednesday
We were delighted to welcome the pupils of 3rd and 4th Classes from Scoil Mhuire, Millstreet B.N.S. to Millstreet Museum on Wednesday, 20th June 2018. Accompanied by their dedicated Teacher – Miss N. Buckley – the children asked the most interesting questions and shared inspiring thoughts during the visit. National Bike Week

When you’re on your school tour and Prince Charles drops in
St. Brendan’s National School Rathcoole met with HRH Prince Charles at the Irish Naval Base in Haulbowline yesterday when they were on their School Tour. Unfortunately Presentation National School were not so lucky as their School Tour to Mucross for today was cancelled for Prince Charles and Camilla’s state visit there.

Boys National School Move-a-thon
The Boys National School will be holding their annual fundraising Move-a-thon in the town park on Friday June 1st. Boys will be actively using the walkway and the pitch and will be fully supervised by teachers at all times. Courtesy and consideration will be shown at all times, to regular users of the Park.

Presentation N.S. Open Day

Feis Maitiú: April 13th
Our School Choir (2nd- 6th) will compete tomorrow Friday 13th in the Feis Maitiú Competition. This is the first time our school will participate in this event and we look forward to watching our girls perform on stage at 10am in Fr. Matthew Hall, Cork. Millstreet Primary Schools Parents Association held their annual school quiz fundraiser on the Friday of the Easter holidays in Millstreet GAA Hall. The hall was packed with lots of tables from both the Millstreet schools as well as lots of tables from schools from the surrounding areas. Further details and photos on the Presentation N.S. website

Millstreet Parents Association (Primary Schools) would like to thank all those who generously supported their church gate collection last weekend.
Team Hope Shoebox Appeal 2017 – Thank you!
Thanks to everyone who took part in this year’s Team Hope Shoebox Appeal. A total of 435 boxes were collected from Millstreet Community School on Thursday 16th November to begin their journey to children who will really benefit from your generosity . This was a tremendous response to the annual appeal. The boxes came from a number of sources:
Kilcorney National School, Rathcoole National School, Knocknagree National School, Hollymount National School, Scoil Mhuire National School Millstreet, Presentation National School Millstreet, Millstreet Community School.
Thanks must go to all connected with these schools, and to Mrs. Mary Randles and the Transition Years students of Millstreet Community School for coordinating this year’s effort. Thank you.
