Our mother and baby group return on this Thursday (12th January) after our Christmas break.

Our guest speaker this week is a member of the Irish Red Cross attending and giving a discussion on therapeutic hand massage.

We look forward to seeing you Thursday morning at 11.00a.m. in Millstreet Parish Centre.

We are delighted to announce we are growing our team.

We have been awarded additional funding under Better Start for AIM to work within the framework of the existing teams to further reduce our ratios to 1 staff to 4 children.

This position is for 30 -35 hours per week. Additional hours will be available also.

This position is to work within our morning Butterfly room, afternoon Dolphin room and afterschool club.

Hours of work will vary but will mainly be from 9am to 6pm daily.

The Ideal candidate will have:
• a minimum QQI Level Level 5 / 6 but Level 7 / 8 would be desirable in Early Childhood Care and Education
• Experience working with children who have additional needs would be desirable but not essential
• First Aid, Manual Handling and Child Protection also an advantage
• Immediate start ( following Garda Vetting)

My husband and I moved with our two young children from Kanturk to Cullen. We would like to transfer our children to Cullen National School from September 2021, but due to our professions, we need a reliable child minder to mind our children before school or after school. Our children are aged 8y and 5y old. The childminder needs to be from Cullen area.

Curious Minds are currently seeking a childcare practitioner to work under the AIM inclusion model Level 7 support in a Junior ECCE room. This is a Better Start AIM position. The hours are 9am-12pm Monday – Friday during term time until end of June 2019.

The Ideal candidate will have:
• a minimum QQI Level 5 qualification in Early Childcare and Education
• Experience working with children who have additional needs would be desirable but not essential

Millstreet Toddler Group reopens next Tuesday

Calling all mums/dads/carers …. Millstreet Toddler Group is resuming after the summer holidays next Tuesday in Millstreet GAA hall at 9.45am. It’s a great way to meet other parents and also for the kids to have some playtime. Tea/coffee/scones are provided as well as snacks for the kids. Cost is only €5 per family. New members also welcome.
