Inspiring Volunteers Coordinate Aid for Moldovan Orphanage

Loading Much Needed Aid for Moldovan Orphanage. Recorded by LTV2 at East Link Industrial Estate in Limerick on Saturday, 9th June 2012. With William Fitzgerald (on extreme right) on camera we arranged to record interviews with Austin Long from Co. Cork and Fran Noone (1st from left) from Co. Louth having met their superb volunteer co-workers from Co. Limerick. The full container will be transported by Austin ( 5th from left) to Moldova within the next few weeks. The generosity not only of these splendid Volunteers but of the many Companies, Hotels, Shops and Individuals who contributed such items as hundreds of pairs of shoes, thousands of nappies (which are like gold in that country), complete toilet sets including sinks, two ton of porridge, beds, toys etc. - is utterly awe-inspiring and shows why Ireland has such a great name abroad. Our LTV2 feature on our visit to the project on Saturday will be shown online very soon. We shall alert you to the feature on our website. (S.R.)
