Self Build and Improve Your Home Show 2016

self-build-and-improve-your-home-2016The Self Build and Improve Your Home show returns, once again, to the well-known Green Glens Arena in Millstreet, Co Cork this weekend (12th and 13th). It brings with it more than 120 high quality exhibitors just itching to help you build a new home or improve, extend and make-over your existing one. Windows, doors, kitchens, bathrooms, slates, tiles, floor coverings, interior designers – they are all here and more – including construction and building professionals to share with you their years of knowledge and experience in all things home and building related.

Clive Corry, Chairman of SelfBuild Ireland, said: “Following on from the huge success of the 2015 Self Build and Improve Your Home show at Millstreet in County Cork, we committed to building a bigger and better show in 2016 for all the self-builders of Munster and I am confident we have done that. We are delighted to

have such a wide and expert range of exhibitors here over the two days of the show, promoting local businesses and showcasing the outstanding talent and innovation which is right on your doorstep. There is something here for everyone wanting to improve their home”.

The show will feature over 20 speakers in three separate theatres enthusiastically plying their audience with expert hints, tips and advice on specific and relevant home building topics. The hugely popular Garden Zone will be packed with new ideas on how to improve your outdoor space.

New to the show this year is a Kitchen Design Clinic and an Interior Design Clinic where eight professional designers will be on hand to give independent and honest advice. Our 1-1 Construction Design and Advice Clinics are back for another year to help new house builders with the right advice on their project. These hugely popular clinics can be booked at the show each morning and they run throughout the day. We suggest that you bring house plans along to each of the clinics if you have them available!

We will also have a prototype of the newest architectural technology available to self-builders. This latest development allows self-builders to virtually walk around their new homes using a headset, even before the first brick has been laid!
