We would also like to thank KBC bank for supporting Derrinagree N.S. with their Bright Ideas fund. KBC awarded Derrinagree N.S. €300 funding for maths and science resources to assist the school through the ‘Green-Schools’ programme. The programme will teach primary school pupils about the importance of conserving and protecting our natural resources. The ‘Green Schools’ programme is an international environmental management system and award scheme that promotes and acknowledges long-term, whole school action for the environment.
