Donna Lyons has contacted us to make us aware of a special Afternoon Tea Fundraising Event at Castlemagner Community Centre on this Saturday (14th May) from 12 noon until 3pm at which Michelle Finn whose mother, Mary (nee O’Connor) comes from Millstreet – will be present. Both Michelle Finn and Lizzie Lee who will be competing in the 3,000m Steeple Chase in the Athletics section of the upcoming Rio Olympics – will both be present for the Castlemagner Event on Saturday. This is an opportunity to meet with the two superbly talented Athletes and for Duhallow people especially to show their heartfelt support.
