Numbers drawn were4, 11, 16, 23 and the Jackpot was not won.

Alice Taylor will launch a book, entitled Bishop’s Island in Clondrohid Hall on Thursday October 22nd at 8pm and all are welcome.

Many thanks to those who displayed the fruits of the earth on our alter for masses at the weekend in thanksgiving to God for the wonderful harvest.
Seven weeks after my knee replacement operation, I am here to say thanks to a whole lot of people who helped me in a whole lot of ways to make a remarkable recovery. Every operation has its risks, with the knee operation high on the list. But with a couple of well tested Novenas and some sound advice from friends who knew the ropes I ventured ahead. Ringing in my ears were the warnings that I got to do my exercises, take my medication and do what I’m told, warnings that I carried out to the letter.
I want to say a sincere word of thanks to all those who chose to advise me. Sent emails and texts. All those who sent Get Well cards and Mass Cards. Thanks to the kind priests who said the masses and thank you to wonderful family for their support during this time.
At the risk of leaving somebody out I will refrain from mentioning names. The experience has thought me that any sort of kind gesture never goes astray ,if help can be given by word or deed then, give it.
Many thanks to our dear friend Sean Radley who took over the task of the weekly news in my absence.
