Dia is mhuire diobh go leir a cairde and welcome to News Report 1250 from Millstreet.  Fondest greetings dear friends and I wish you all the very best on this very wintery Tuesday morning.

The Brennan Brothers of At Your Service fame were there as well as many of our own entertainers.

With Monday January 19th  is reputed to be the most depressing day of the year  and with that behind us we must look upwards

and onwords  from now on. By now most of the New Year resolutions have been put to the test and are either scrapped or being built upon.

The state of our health services is not a very cheery subject, but instead of cursing itself and the Government we must seek ways to help the situation along rather than complain about it. And we can all help in many ways but chiefly by taking better care of our health. Make it a New Year Resolution. There is great emphasis these days on health and wellbeing and if we listen to the warnings and act upon them ,then with a little bit of help from us all, perhaps 2015 will see a marked reduction in the number of patients on trollys.
