Rathmore left without a GP

A story on the Kerry Today programme on Radio Kerry yesterday highlighted how Rathmore has been left without a GP due to the only doctor retiring, and how 500 medical card patients were transferred to Millstreet Medical Centre at the last minute. Apparently the patients will have to travel to Millstreet until a new medical centre is prepared in Rathmore which will take a good few months.
Kerry Today presenter Jerry O’Sullivan talks to FF Cllr Niall Kelliher about the last minute notice to patients that they now have to travel to Millstreet to see a doctor.
