MILLSTREET CHURCH ALTAR SOCIETY for13th & 20th July Group B 

YOUTH & PASTORAL MINISTRY COURSES:  The Diocese of Kerry are offering both of these courses to adults interested in developing the knowledge & skills to work with young people (Youth Ministry Course) and to those wanting to become more involved in parish life (Pastoral Ministry Course).  Details from Parish Office.

KERRY DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES are holding a “Night at the Dogs” on Friday 11th July at Kingdom Greyhound Stadium, Tralee to help raise funds to defray travel costs for our Lourdes Helpers.  Without our helpers we would not be able to bring the 50 or so pilgrims who need assistance to Lourdes each year.  Tickets cost €10.  Tickets can be purchased on the night at the Track or in advance by contacting Angie Kissane (087) 1311608.  Your support would be greatly appreciated.

MILLSTREET COMMUNITY HOSPITAL:  Annual Church Gate Collection next weekend (12th/13th) in Millstreet. Your continued support is appreciated.

CULLEN & DISTRICT SPECIAL NEEDS ASSOCIATION:  Annual Harvest Afternoon – Laitiaran Sunday 20th July.  All offers of help appreciated.  Committee meeting Monday 14th July at 8.00p.m.

HISTORICAL VISIT TO VALENTIA ISLAND:  Kerry Archeological & Historical Society Field outing to Valentia Island will take place on Sunday 13th July, led by Michael Lyne.  The outing will include visits to the Tetrapod site, Cable Station, Slate Quarry & Grotto.  Meet at the Skellig Interpretative Centre Car Park at 2.30.m.  All welcome.

ARDFERT RETREAT CENTRE: Saturday 19th July (10a.m-5p.m) – A Day of Empowerment thro’ Prayer & Healing with Joe Dalton, Catholic Lay Evangelist.  Book essential (066) 7134276 or email:  <email>.
