On 5 October from 10 to noon I will be hosting a reunion for the extended family of Denis and Ellen Walsh Buckley from Knocknakilla/Millstreet. Denis’s son Richard born about 1850 would be my 2nd gr grandfather who married Hannah O’Hayre from Newmarket I believe. Hannah’s parents were Donal and Mary O’Connor O’Hayre with a son Jeffry and possibly Thomas. Richards siblings were James,Daniel,Patrick,Hanora,Michael,Denis,Edmond and John. Michael married Ellen Kelliher about1875. The Buckley Family reunion originally scheduled for 5 Oct. is rescheduled for Sat. 26 Oct. at the Wallis Arms from 10am to noon. Anybody with connections to the Buckley’s from Knocknakilla, the Daniel O’Hare and Mary Connell O’Hare’s from Newmarket and the Walsh’s- possibly Edmond from the Millstreet / Horsemount Mountain-Knocknaroe area are most welcome to attend.
