Coursing: Chloé Collins’ bitch “Come on Bella” ran in the Kitty Butler Stake at the National Coursing Finals in Clonmel this weekend. In the first round was on Sunday morning before the interval, she beat Killahy’s Babe; in the quarter-finals Monday morning, she beat Blades Of Joy, but was beaten in the semi-final Monday afternoon (Feb 3rd) by Catunda Magic who went on to win the final. GAA: Waterford Crystal Cup Semi-Final: Clare 0-20 Cork 2-11, Fri Feb 1st in Sixmilebridge at 7:45pm (throw in was delayed until 8:30) (teamsheets) – Mark Ellis was at full back.

U18 Premier FL 2(1): Macroom 1-12 Millstreet2-7, 2nd Feb 1pm  [U18 P FL 2(1)]

Rugby: Emily Cleary’s Ballincollig Womens rugby team  beat Nenagh by 20 – 10 in the Munster Cup (Group A)  (Feb 3rd) [results & table], but beaten 20-0 by UL Bohemians this weekend (Feb 10th).

Rallying: 2013 Irish Tarmac Rally Championship started in Galway this weekend. Liam Moynihan was co-driving for William Mavitty in a Mitsubishi Evo 9, but they went out in stage 3 of the 8 stage event. [results]

Greyhounds: Millridge Bolt won race 9 – Dominos Pizza Sweepstake Semi-Final (Grade : A3) Flat 525 at Tralee on Friday Feb 1st [result]
