MILLSTREET COMMUNITY SCHOOL,

ONE HUNDRED PER CENT SUCCESSS

OUT OF  1743 PROJECTS ENTERED INTO THE BT YOUNG SCIENTIST AND TECHNOLOGY COMPETITION, 550 WERE CHOSEN AND ALL OF MILLSTREET COMMUNITY SCHOOL‘S ENTRIES MADE IT TO THE FINAL.

a)      Does Government legislature disable rural social patterns?

Donagh Murphy, Diarmuid Murphy, Kevin Linehan.

“We hope to find out if Government laws affect people in rural areas more than in urban areas.”

 

b)      The impact the economic decline has on behavioural patterns.

Aisling Dennehy , Eleanor O’Leary, Hayley Whitby.

“We hope to find out if there are any patterns in the economic decline.”

 

c)       Improving access to roads and services during severe winter months in the Millstreet area-

a spatial network analysis approach

Shane Dineen, Colm Barrett, Andrew Roche.

“We hope to examine the government road gritting system and consider possible alternatives using spatial analysis software.”

 

d)      “No Limbs, No Limits?”

Nadine Spillane, Joanne O’ Riordan

“We hope to find out if exam facilities can be improved for people with limb disabilities in exam situations.”
