The death has occurred on Friday, October 07, 2011 of Nora McCARTHY, (née O’Donoghue) of Lombardstown, Cork. Peacefully, at home, after a long illness, bravely borne, in the presence of her family. Nora (née O’Donoghue, Kilcorney), beloved wife of the late Janie, Gneeves and dear mother of Joan (Herlihy), Mary (Cronin), Donough, Noreen (Crowley), Rose, Noelle, Angela and sister of Jonie (Tarrant). Deeply regretted by her loving family, sister, grandchildren Johnie, Sinead, Niamh, David, Joanne, Tim, Eoin, Deirdre, Colm, Eugene, Orla and Cian, sons-in-law Joseph, Tadgh, Eamon and Angela’s partner Liam, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at McCarthy’s Funeral Home, Banteer tomorrow, Sunday, from 4.30pm followed by removal at 7pm to St. Mary’s Church, Castlemagner. Requiem Mass on Monday at 2pm. Burial afterwards in St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Castlemagner.
