  1. Hello I was wondering if Margaret Kelleher could be kin to Timothy X. Kelleher, born about 1840 of Millstreet.

  2. Being her son, I can tell you that she was married to Denis Kelleher, formerly of Kilmeedy, Millstreet and now deceased. Whether or not he was related to Timothy X. Kelleher, I cannot say.

  3. Thank you so very much. I have been trying to trace my family (Carroll) tree. My great grandfather Daniel Carroll married Catherine Kelleher. Just thought maybe it was the same family.

  4. Anyone know if Timothy X Kelleher abt 1840 had a Sister Maria (Mary) born abt 1835. She would be my 3rd Ggrandmother. I have several DNA connections to Timothy x thru the Carroll’s/ Peghers.

    1. Hi Michael,
I am Mary O’Brien nee Kelleher Kilmeedy. If you give me some of your information I will be able to see whether we are related
      Kind Regards
      Mary

      1. Thank you , Mary!
I am searching for the parents of my 3rd great grandmother. Mary Kelleher born abt 1835 cork Ireland ,died in 1903 Chicago IL. She left cork in 1846. Married a Patrick Smith born abt 1830 in cork.
I have several DNA connections to the Kelleher’s and they all lead to Millstreet.
Michael Kelleher born 1833 -1915 married to a Mary Lynch. And A Timothy X Kelleher born 1840 married to a Ellen Conway born 1840. My line thru Timothy runs thru his daughter Catherine 1865-1937 married to Daniel Carroll 1861-1928.
I hope I haven’t overwhelmed you. THANK YOU so much offering to help.

      2. Hello Mary – my Grandfather was Martin Kelleher, born 1884 in Pallas, Kilmeedy.
His parents were Cornelius & Ellen (née Quaid).
Martin went to Cork at an early age and worked in Grant & Co. department store for many years. He married Nora Collins, they had 4 children, Eileen, Noreen, Kitty (O’Sullivan, my late mother) & Frank, all now deceased including Frank’s wife Peggy who sadly died recently on 1st August.
I believe the daughter (Maura?) of Con & Kit Kelleher lives in Pallas with her family.
I think she would be my 2nd cousin. I attended her father’s funeral with my mother, Aunt Noreen, sister Patricia (deceased) in early 1980’s. I also believe her mother Kit has also sadly passed away..
it would be very good to know if you might be related to those Kellehers
        Yours
        Jeanne Elliott (née O’Sullivan)

        1. Hi Jeanne,
This is a different Kilmeedy, near Millstreet, Co Cork. I think your Kilmeedy is in Co Limerick.
