The death has occurred of Dan Duggan, 11 West End, Millstreet, Co. Cork
Peacefully, in the care of the staff of Araglen Nursing Home, Dan, son of the late Margaret and John Duggan, predeceased by his sisters Joan, Ka (Kay Egan), and Eileen.
Dan will be fondly remembered for his quiet kindness, good humour, wisdom, and generous spirit. Always ready with a helping hand or a word of advice, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Sadly, missed by his niece Lisa Egan, relatives, neighbours, and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing in Tarrant’s funeral home, Millstreet, on Friday from 5.30pm to 7pm, followed by removal to St. Patrick’s Church, Millstreet. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 11am. Burial afterwards to St. Mary’s Cemetery, Millstreet. Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on https://www.churchservices.tv/millstreet
Dan’s family wish to express their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Araglen Nursing Home, Boherbue, the Public Health Nursing team, his home care assistants, the staff of Millstreet Day Care Centre, Dr. Liam Norton, Dr. Christine Walsh and all the team at Clara Medical Centre, as well as Reen’s Pharmacy, Millstreet, for the exceptional care, kindness, and support shown to Dan.

Does anyone know if Dan Duggan and his family were related to John and Rebecca(Campion) of Cork City. They had 10 children. They eventually lived on Blarney Street in Cork city until around 1915 when most of them emigrated to the US. I am looking for family members in that area, My husband and I live in Tralee since 2023.
