Millstreet Pictorial Updates 26th January 2026

For our most recent Millstreet Pictorial Updates we focus on Geraldine and Cork’s Imperial Hotel, on Grandparents Day which was wonderfully celebrated in Cullen N.S. on Friday, 23rd January and we also visit Rathmore’s magnificent Pantomime “Treasure Island” currently running at Rathmore Community Centre.   Tap on the images to enlarge.  (S.R.)

Geraldine Cronin, originally from Millstreet has for the past eighteen years been such a wonderfully welcoming presence in her important role at Cork’s Imperial Hotel. In recognising her inspiring dedication she has recently been nominated for the IHF Cork Branch Employee of the Year Awards. This is such a richly deserved recognition of Geraldine’s ever cheerful, welcoming and sincere approach in her all-important role of projecting such a positive and supremely friendly image of Cork City and County. Sincere congratulations to the very popular Geraldine on such a prestigious nomination. Every good luck at the Award Ceremony. (We thank Niall Moynihan for alerting us to this uplifting upcoming event.)
Wonderful musical entertainment provided by the very talented pupils in Cullen N.S. and their Music Instructor, Alan Finn, on Grandparents Day 2026.
