Acknowledgement and First Anniversary
Jeremiah Collins, Liscahane, Millstreet, Co. Cork who died 26th January 2025
On Jeremiah’s first anniversary, we, his family would like to take this opportunity to express sincere gratitude to all those who sympathised with us, called to the house, brought food and refreshments, helped with traffic management, sent mass cards, posted condolences online and attended his removal and funeral services.
To Davy, Declan and Cora at Tarrants undertakers, we are most grateful for their professionalism and personal touch.
A special thank you to Canon John Fitzgerald for celebrating Jeremiah’s funeral mass in St. Patricks church, to Sharon Lane and Julie Brady for all their help and assistance.
Thank you to Niamh O’Mahony and Edel Fraser for the beautiful singing and music at the mass.
Thank you to all who helped and participated in any way in the funeral mass and burial.
We are most grateful to Dr Michael Casey, Nora Casey and the late Dr Patrick Casey of Tullig Medical Centre, and also the late Dr Michael Feeley.
Thank you to Dr Bird and all the staff of the Bons Secours Hospital Cork, especially the staff of St. Bernadette’s ward. Also, thank you to all the staff of Reens Pharmacy Millstreet.
We would like to thank the staff of the Castle Hotel, Macroom for their wonderful hospitality and service, facilitating us after the burial.
We would especially like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the help and kindness of our wonderful neighbours, who helped out in so many ways.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest gratitude.
Jeremiah’s first anniversary mass will be celebrated on Saturday 24th January 2026 at 10am in St Patricks Church, Millstreet.
