SACRAMENT OF BAPTISM

This weekend we celebrate the Baptism of our Lord, and it gives us an opportunity to reflect on the journey of faith we began when we were brought for baptism.  In a homily given by the late Pope Francis he said that at baptism “we were given the greatest gift: the gift of faith.” He also “asked the Lord to help children grow in faith, true humanity, and in the joy of family.” In today’s world our faith and beliefs are the cornerstone of our lives, and we again ask God to help us pass on this faith to the next generation. May God continue to protect the families and children of this Parish.
