A Royal Millstreet Welcome to 2026!

As we approach the end of 2025 we reflect on a year when true generosity and magnificent support shone through when in November we appealed through a fundraising project for financial contributions to help us cover the costs for one year associated with the provision of both the Millstreet Community Website and Millstreet Museum voluntary services.   Such was the amazing hugely generous support that, by the conclusion of the fundraising, we are now in a position where not only are our costs covered for one year …. but for an incredible four years.    A million thanks to the enormously kind individuals, to the various organisations and to the business outlets who not only generously contributed but who truly encouraged and inspired us in relation to the value of both Voluntary Community Services.     We shall later share the final amount with an official photo of the four guardians of the fund.   We are still extending individual thanks to our various contributors which since the conclusion of our GoFundMe project have continued to be presented….including:  Anonymously donated – 2@€100.00  ;  5 @ €50.00 ;   2@ €20.00.   From:  Maura Kiely – €50.00 ;  from Joan and Donie Hickey – €50.00 ;  from the Dineen Family, Ballydaly – €50.00 ;  from Mary and Donie Healy – €50.00 ;  from Mary and Joe O’Connell – €50.00 ;   from Nicholas Tangney – €50.00 ;  from Noel and Margaret Buckley – €100.00;  from Luke and Mairéad Hurley – €100.00 .   Míle buíochas.    Here we accord a Royal Welcome to 2026 in the presence of Millstreet Pipe Band who shared a superb recital in The Square, Millstreet at 7pm this New Year’s Eve, 31st Dec. 2025.  Every Blessing and Happiness to All throughout a wonderfully Healthy 2026.  Tap on the images to enlarge.   (S.R.)
