The death has occurred of Edward (Ned) Fitzgerald, Two Gneeves, Cullen, Co. Cork.
Edward (Ned), passed away peacefully on the 14th of November after a short illness surrounded by his loving family at his home in Two Gneeves, Cullen. Beloved husband of Mary (née Crowley) much loved father of Christine, Seán and Barry. Adored by his grandchildren Aoife, Kieran and Adam. Beloved son of the late John and Hannah and predeceased by brothers Garrit, Frank (Manchester) sister Lelia (New York) and niece Siobhán. Ned will be sadly missed by his brothers Paddy, Brendan, John, Liam, his sisters in laws, nephews, nieces, cousins and his daughter in law Eileen and son in law Ger.
Ned will be missed by all of his friends who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Lying in Repose in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Cullen on Sunday from 5pm to 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
